From the 7th-12th July, FEBS Congress are celebrating Biochemistry Forever 2018 in the beautiful historic city of Prague.

Horizons in STEM: Making Connections, Innovating and Sharing Pedagogy

The theme this year is Making Connections, Innovating and Sharing Pedagogy, and we look forward to exchanging ideas and discussing pedagogical practices with fellow innovators across Higher Education disciplines.

Upcoming Conference Talk: Technology enhanced learning to support postgraduate education

Dr John Eastman, one of our directors, is presenting at the Excellence in Postgraduate Education workshop at Cranfield University on the 26th April 2018.

The workshop is free to attend with some places still available at the last time of checking. The focus is on innovation in postgraduate teaching methods.

Getting Creative: Learning Science at the HEA STEM conference

We’re going to be attending the HEA STEM conference in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, on Weds 31st January and Thurs 1st February 2018. The focus this year is Creativity in Teaching, Learning and Student Engagement.

We’ve got a stand and will be running an interactive workshop session on the Thursday afternoon, where we look forward to learning from and sharing ideas with you.

It's called: "Creative techniques to support your laboratory practicals: student engagement via interactive simulations, smart worksheets & more."

Biosciences e-learning workshop: follow-up article

On Monday 20th March 2017, the Biochemical Society hosted an e-learning training event at Charles Darwin House in London.

During the morning talks, afternoon workshops and our discussions with delegates at our demo stand, it was great to see so much interest and passion for innovative teaching with technology. We were proud to sponsor and attend the event.
